Just a note to inform you that a classmate of ours Brendon Smith Service No: 19225, passed away on 29th March in Ashburton Hospital after a short battle with cancer.

Brendon joined as a cook and left the Navy as a PO Cook. I was at his 60th birthday 4 weeks before he passed away.

Brendon served on Taranaki from 1969 to 1971, and on the Waikato 1973/1974.
