DO-YOU -HEAR-THERE,
Pipe the still...

It is with regret that I advise that our "Patron" of the Royal New Naval Association (Western)   Mr. Bill Hale  has this day passed away, I have advised our Sec/Treas Bill Newell and asked him to pass on this information to  President Nobby.
I have been officially asked to be involved with the service,... and I will,... but to what level will ultimately be decided by our President.
Any further instructions on the associations involvement will come from Bill (Scouse) Sec/Treas and our President.

As your Vice President  I can advise that a request has been made for a  full turn out of service personal with medals.

Bill Hale, our Patron, as you guys are aware was a member of many clubs, and a patron of more than one, and a multi- Life member holder  within N.Z. and overseas, with-in the association and  we have to fit within that mould in organizing a combined and organized service of the highest order, Bill was also Patron of the Malayan Association ,I am a past President & vice president of that organisation and I hope to work with all associations to ensure that Bill gets all the respect that he deserves and more.
Bill approached me about ten years ago to write services for his English marine mates, in the Royal Marines which I was happy to do for him, he constantly insisted that In the event of his demise that I conduct his service, I did and he has seen it and approved, however  it appears that there is some confusion, and for those present tonight .what ever, I well work with the TGA RSA and sort, please be aware that Gwen, Bills Wife is a major part of all decisions and her word is final.
I will ask our yeoman, Daryll Hall if he can man the flag pole??

Please all your queries to Bill Newell.

Wishing you calm seas
Doc.
