Well, not really - A bloke by the name of Dick Hopper built a 7ft model of Canterbury and has it for sale.

Disposal of my 1/48 scale Canterbury. I built it 10 years ago, and she has been used much as a working model.

She spent three years at Modelworld, Hobsonville, a tourist site. She's also been on display in the hanger of the full-size ship, and crew invited to criticise - that really put my head on the block!

I am in the process of selling Taranaki to navy people in New Plymouth, same scale as canterbury, for $3000.  I'd ask the same for Canterbury, less without radio if to be used as a static.I would hope that the modelends up in Canterbury.
