and ex RN..... 

First of all let me introduce myself - My name is Kenneth Roy Ainsworth, Paul will know me as Roy, (or Charlie, which was my nickname in the Navy), (ex Leading Marine Engineer Mechanic, Royal Navy, 1969 - 1979, and Master Corporal Marine Engineer Technician with the Canadian Armed Forces (Navy), 1980 - 1989.
 
I am writing to you as a last resort, to try and make contact again with Paul Wright. I last had contact with him in 1998 while in Auckland when I was serving on a container vessel as Refrigeration Officer, (unfortunately we were not in port long enough to meet, just had telephone conversation.)
 
Paul and I served together in the Royal Navy in the 70's, we came from the same town in England, (Ashton-Under-Lyne in Lancashire), Paul was also an usher at my wedding in Ashton in 1975. I moved to Canada in 1979 to join the Canadian Armed Forces and consequently lost contact with Paul until we spoke in 1998.

I have his address which is/was:- 2 Ashby Place, Chester Park, Albany, Auckland N.Z.. I have written a couple of times over the years but received nothing in return. I also have a phone number - Auckland 445-5591, but never get an answer. I have also tried the phone directory for Auckland to no avail.
