Please read from the Presidents Report above that was in the latest RSA Review.
 
On pages 7 of the report there is a small mention of "A Medal for Service."
 
This is what ourselves, and several other Veterans groups have been hoping for, although we were hoping for the NZSSM which we undoubtedly qualify for. I understand that this is to be considered the "last" of the historic medallic grievences.
 
This initiative is much of the work of the current National President of the RNZRSA, John Campbell, done on behalf of those servicemen and women who served during the period of the Cold War and received nothing in the way of recognition.
 
Please give this email your widest promulgation amongst Veterans groups. Thank you.
