We have just learned of the passing of Colin (Taff) Claridge who was the Admin Officer Technical in Naval Staff  until his retirement in April 1992.

Taff passed away in Whitby ( Wellington) on 1 October and his funeral was held on 6 October aged 83. He is survived by his wife and two children, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

As AO (Tech) he was involved in the paper work and record keeping for many of our ships from 1956 onwards and including ENDEAVOUR and MANAWANUII and the onset of the Anzac Frigate project.
