Received this morning from Bob Woodroofe via Alan Woolston

It is with considerable regret that I have to advise that our good mate Colin Dixon passed away yesterday Tuesday 31/03/09 in the local hospice at Cowplain Hampshire.

I have spoken with his partner of long standing Chrissy Wearmouth who tells me that Colin had been ill since last May and was diagnosed as having asbestosis induced cancer last June.

It was Colin's wish that he be buried on Waiheke Island after a service in the Naval Chapel, Devonport and Chrissy has asked me to tell you that she will arrange for the funeral arrangements to be published in local papers once the necessary arrangements have been finalised.  Please let those whose e-mail addresses I do not have know of Colin's passing.

Should you wish to contact Chrissy direct, her address is 13 Ruskin Way, Cowplain, Hants PO8 8JX  Tel: 0044 2392231797.

God bless you all,

Bob Woodroofe
