Richie passed away on the weekend aged 25. It is intended for Richie to rest, at the Te Taua Moana RNZN Marae from 1200 today before returning home to his family in Whakatane.

A funeral service for Richie will be held 1100 Saturday 04 March 2006, at Willotts Funeral Centre, 21 King Street, Whakatane. This will be followed by his burial 1230, at Kawerau Lawn Cemetary, Kawerau.
