It is with regret we announce the passing (asbestosis) of Robert (Bob) George Burns NZ18989 M(E)1 age 58 at 2330 04/09/07.
Bob was surrounded by family and friends when he finally slipped his cable at home in Helensville. Bob was TARANAKI expo 70 Far East trip. May he RIP.

Dear friends,
 
Just to keep you updated, we have arranged Bob's funeral service for Monday 10 September at 11am. This will be held at St Matthews Church, which is on Garfield Road in Helensville.
 
We realise that you may not be able to attend because of prior commitments, and we fully understand.
 
Thank you to all of you who have sent flowers, it is lovely to have something of beauty in the house. However, in lieu of any further gifts could you please make a small donation to the West Auckland Hospice as they have been amazing during the past few weeks. The care and attention that was lavished on Bob by the nurses from the hospice made his final weeks extremely comfortable and pain-free.
 
Once again, thank you for all of your support and friendship over this difficult time.
