Shipmates

Have just heard from Neil Brimblecombe that ex Stoker PO Pat Huxtable 'Crossed the bar' at noon yesterday.

I remember Pat with great affection as a buff stoker consigned to the boatyard (FMU) when PAEA was on the slips.

He was always ready and eager to pass on his knowledge to us young guys.

Pat had just picked up his hook, and was one of life's true gentlemen. May he RIP.
